6 Weeks

Henry is now 6 weeks old and becoming a chunk!  We bought a digital scale this weekend so we can weigh ourselves with and without him, and according to our measurements he is a little over 10 pounds now.  He has rubber band wrists and chunky thighs and his cheeks are pretty plump.  He is still eating like it's his job - about 3.5 to 4 ounces every 3-4 hours.  His nighttime routine is becoming more. . .routine, as he usually wakes up between 1 and 2 am and again between 4 and 5 am.  Then he starts waking when the sun comes up, but usually we can get him to relax for awhile after he eats if he is lying on one of us.  Unfortunately this won't be the routine when I go back to work in a week and a half.  He's still not smiling, but we did get a few glimpses of smiles Thursday evening.  So far Chad's been able to get more action on that front than I have.  Soon, I'm sure!

Here are this week's pics:

  2. That is one adorable, bouncing, baby boy! I am proud to be his great grandma! Give him a little squeeze and kiss from me - and have one for yourself! xxxxxxxxxxxooooooxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
